Our House Custom Homes

Larry Wojtala, President of Our House Custom Homes, builds between fifteen and twenty
houses each year, ranging from 1800 to 8000 square feet. The home styles vary from
contemporary with plate glass railings to replicating a 150 year old house that appeared
in Country Living Magazine.

Whatever the style of home, one thing remains the same, quality. "We believe homes
should last at least 100 to 150 years. Unfortunately, today many aren't built to last 50.
Quality begins with the foundation and reaches to the rooftop. For example, the block
foundation in all of our homes is 50 percent thicker than most homes built today and we
reinforce with steel every other course. If you start with a good foundation, you
minimize the problem of settling and the cost associated with that. Such as cracks in
the basement, water infiltration, cracked drywall, and doors not closing properly."

All our foundations come with a 20 year limited warranty provided by a national
company.

Our House Custom Homes maintains not only quality, but attention to detail, customer
satisfaction and flexibility. Being a smaller builder, our customers get much more
personal attention. We work together to bring your ideas to reality.

Larry, a business graduate of the University of Akron, has been designing and drawing
homes for the past 17 years. Therefore, There is no need to hire an architect. We
work as a team when it comes to modifications in design and price, and if you build with
us, there is no charge for the home plans.

Our House Custom Homes reflects many of the upscale building innovations of the
decade. From granite countertops, home theatre systems, Whole house audio and
video systems, "smart house" technology, to geothermal heating and cooling systems.
